AZNA STEEL PLANS TO COMMISSION HRC PRODUCTION IN Q1 2019

Iran’s Azna Steel proceeds with a plant construction to produce 1.2 million tpy HRC in Lorestan prov- ince, Metal Expert learnt from the company’s representative interview. “In August, we obtained USD185 million from the National Development Fund to complete the con- struction and solve financial problems of the company,” the source commented. “For now, the physical progress of the project has reached 76-80%.” The commissioning is scheduled for Q1 2019. The products range comprises 1.5-20 mm thick and 600-1,600 mm wide HRC.
