CHADORMALU TO COMMISSION DRI PLANT IN EARLY 2019

In early 2019, Iran’s Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Co. (Chadormalu) plans to commission a 1.55 million tpy DRI module at Chadormalu Steel Co in Ardakan, Yazd province, Metal Expert learnt from the company’s statement. “A few weeks ago we started hot trials of equipment and we have tested hot-charging system recently,” commented a company insider. “We need at least 3 weeks to fully commission the equipment.” The start of operations is scheduled for late January 2019.
