August was traditionally full of the scheduled maintenance and proved its notion of the vacation period as the nominal capacity growth was the smallest this year. According to the Metal Expert database, the nominal capacity addition in August (excluding China) was as follows: 78,000 tpy of pre-painted steel and 12,000 tpy of welded tubes. The new equipment came on stream in CIS countries.
