BAFT STEEL COMPLEX PROCEEDS WITH DRI PLANT CONSTRUCTION

Iran’s Baft Steel Complex proceeds with construction of an 800,000 tpy DRI module in Baft, Kerman province, Metal Expert learnt from an interview of the Managing Director for the local media. “We have already completed equipment installation and adjustment,” the source commented. “By the end of the current year [Iranian, finishes on March 20] we will start the hot trials.” The unit will be commissioned after the successful completion of all the necessary tests in mid-2019.
