摘要

Advanced Oxidation Processes including ozone are known for their atrazine decomposition in drink- ing water.However,ozonation is a slow process and is not efficient in the removal of atrazine from drinking water.Better results were achieved at alkaline pH.The aim of our work was to degrade atrazine by ozonation of drinking water using Pt-catalyst and to compare the results with other ozonation processes.Up to 93% of atrazine removal was achieved by applying Pt-catalyst,especially in pH range around 7.The concentrations of some metabolites were observed during the ozonation.Deethylatrazine did not decompose at different reaction conditions.It was established that the efficiency of atrazine removal depends on concentration of inorganic carbon in drinking water.
