Hurner: Robot system produces complex pipe sections using butt welding

With "Project 7", Hurner Schweiss-technik GmbH has improved the production of complex pipe sections using butt welding processes. One single, fully automated process is all it takes to produce as well segmented pipes of any elbow angle as Tees and crosspieces. This is enacted with a degree of precision and process reliability that has never been achieved so far.
