Over the past decade jet fuel has provided an engine for China’s oil demand growth as one of the fastest-growing refined products. That upward propulsion has gone into a nosedive as the coronavirus drastically curtails the country’s domestic and international travel. How long the downturn lasts is anyone’s guess, since a vaccine could take up to one year to develop.
