Global Demand Trends: Slowing Down Ahead of Low Winter Season

Growth in global jet fuel demand continued to slow in November, inch- ing up by less than 1% versus year earlier rates. Consumption in a group of representative countries totaled 3.5 million b/d, with industrialized nations providing all of the lift. France paced expansion among the developed countries with a 6.6% gain, followed by Japan and Canada with 4.7% each. Europe posted relatively buoyant growth of 2.9%, while the US weighed on the overall trendline with a setback of less than 1%.
