Canada paced the growth in North American jet fuel demand in September with a stellar 34% rise that pushed the country’s usage up to 226,000 b/d. Regional consumption reached nearly 2 million b/d at the start of the fall shoulder season. US jet fuel usage fell slightly to 1.69 mil- lion b/d with the changeover to fall slight schedules. Mexican demand continued to languish, falling by 7.4% to 72,000 b/d.
