Republic Cement,a major cement producer in the Philippines,has announced plans to boost its output by 25% next year in order to meet growing domestic demand.The company currently has six manufacturing plants: four are located in Luzon,with one in Mindanao and one in Visayas.Nabil Francis,President of Republic Cement,noted that the company produces approximately 7.5 million t,and has recently revamped 5 of its six plants,adding,"The only one that will not change is the one in Visayas."
