ACREX India 2018 was held in the backdrop of two significant developments. A TechSci research report says that the Indian heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) market scale will grow from the current US$ 4 billion to US$ 7.7 billion by 2022; and the government has given the cold chain - growing at a breakneck compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19-20% - the status of an infrastructure sector.
