Cardiac Emergency During Pregnancy

Acute myocardial infarction during pregnancy or Labour is uncommon and difficult to diagnose. Early recognition is important for the prognosis. Risk factors include advanced maternal age, a history of preeclampsia, or exposition in the third trimenon. Unfortunately, there is no consensus on the obstetrical or anaesthesiological management of these patients.
