While most car manufacturers are shouting from the roof tops that they've got a plug-in hybrid in their line-up, Bentley is a whole lot more discreet about the matter. The Crewe based firm simply calls its first plug-in hybrid vehicle the Bentayga Hybrid, and you'll have to engage in a game of hunt the charging flap to be sure that it can be topped up with juice from the electric grid. But even that's so subtle, as it simply mirrors the petrol flap on other side of the car. No, Bentley isn't embarrassed about its electrified Bentayga, it just likes to keep people guessing. So it could quite easily have a snarling V8 under the bonnet as the shortlived diesel engine we loved so much, if the owner has chosen to debadge the Bentayga - doors and tailgate.
