What was your initial reaction after leaving the hospital with a diabetes diagnosis? At first it was very frightening. All these things go through your mind. And then the Spirit said to me inside, "No, this is a blessing. This is a blessing for your life. You can live with this." And it brought into my life all of these wonderful people. I said, "OK, now what do I do now that I know that I'm living with diabetes?" So I went to my doctor and told him about it and talked to him about it, and he said, "You can live with this." Right away, I wanted to get the word out.
