摘要

Aortic valve stenosis (AS) is one of the most frequent valve diseases in the elderly with relevant prognostic impact. Because sufficient experimental models were lacking, we recently refined an experimental model of gradable experimental AS closely mimicking disease progression in humans[1]. Here, we aimed at developing a comprehensive MRI approach for simultaneous assessment of changes in valvular, myocardial as well as aortic morphology and function in this murine AS model.
