We live in an age of instant gratification and “quick fixes.” Technology has been wonderful in making information immediately available, whether we need it or not. The basic mobile phone and then the smartphone have probably been the most instrumental in liberalizing general public accessibility to sending and receiving information almost anywhere in the world. The limitation of those inventions is only confined by the closest cell tower or satellite and available bandwidth, both factors that improve daily. The potential distance between electronic, communicating parties is defined by the type of device used for the communication and the service subscription that has been purchased. Having reduced complex processes into a simplistic operating system, instant responses to questions can come to old and young alike with very little instruction.
