摘要

The optimal parameters of radiation-initiated synthesis in trimethylchlorosilane of tetrafluoroethylene telomers intended for hydrophobization of polyester fabrics have been determined. The efficiency of using tetrafluoroethylene telomers with silane end groups as water repellents has been evaluated. It has been shown that treatment of polyester fabric with tetrafluoroethylene telomer solutions makes it possible to form a highly hydrophobic coating characterized by a contact angle of water of about 120 degrees and high resistance to factors affecting the performance. The hydrophobized fabric possesses uniquely low water absorption and good hygienic properties.
