Since out-of-roundness (OoR) can occur when manufacturing pipe, without quality control of pipe ends the production and completion of a welding project may be impacted. Regardless of the grade, size and wall thickness of pipe, guaranteeing a perfect fit-up - especially with high tolerance levels - is almost impossible without having a solid understanding of the data analysis and profile of each measured pipe end.
