F-Gas Question Time 2020: Covid-19 adds to a year of seismic industry challenges

The first-ever online F-Gas Question Time found Covid-19 has added to the high levels of uncertainty already facing the cooling sector from factors such as Brexit and further quota cuts under F-Gas regulation, reports Neil Merrett. RAC Magazine F-Gas Question Time was initially intended to tackle two key areas that were set to drastically reshape the cooling sector. We were planning to discuss January 2021, which will simultaneously see a further reduction in the quotas of refrigerant allowed on the European market under the F-Gas regulation and the end of the UK's transition to becoming a non-EU member state, resulting in the cessation of decades-long trade and customs agreements.
