In a sound forest management program, few things are more important than clear delineation of your property boundaries. Land ownership begins with knowing what you own . . . not only the assets (your timber), but also the area (yourboundary). Management plans cannot be created nor inventories conducted without first confirming the bounds of that to be examined. So when forestland is purchased, inherited, or gifted, priority one is marking your boundary.
