LNG spot prices in Northeast Asia fell 10¢ to $10.30 per million Btu as more supply was made available following cargo delivery cancellations in Pakistan and Egypt, according to World Gas Intelligence assessments for deliveries four to eight weeks ahead. Prices in Southwest Europe were assessed 20¢ higher/lower at $8.30/MMBtu. The UK National Balancing Point day-ahead price was assessed 65¢ higher at $7.91/MMBtu, while the new August futures contract rose 42¢ to $7.86/MMBtu. Netbacks for Middle East sellers in Asia were about $ 1.79/MMBtu higher than in Southwest Europe, while UK/Belgian netbacks were almost $2.73/MMBtu lower than in Asia.
