Scientists have detected dozens of volatile and non-volatile substances migrating from 'bamboo' food packaging. They have also found melamine migration exceeding specific migration limits,and have concluded that bamboo-melamine articles present 'a risk to consumers' health,' and their promotion as biodegradable to be a fraud to consumers'.
