SPANISH DECK EQUIPMENT specialist Ibercisa has been chosen by Knut Inge and Henrik Ostervold to supply winches and a package of associated equipment for their new pelagic vessel, due to be built at the Western Marine Shipyard in Bangladesh.They took the opportunity to sign the contract for the suite of deck machinery at Nor-Shipping, with the deal to supply the new Ostervold vessel struck by Ibercisa's northern Europe agent, Faroese company KSS.The 82 metre purse seiner/pelagic trawler for Knut Inge and Henrik Ostervold is a Sawicon design. It will be supplied with a package designed, manufactured and installed by Ibercisa Deck Machinery, consisting of fifteen electric winches. This includes twin trawl winches with a Scantrol autotrawl control system, auxiliary winches, a pair of net drums, purse seine handling equipment and net sounder winches.
