Altifort: about the human factor in CNC

6-axis CNC-technology undoubtedly has its merits over its predecessor. However, implementing this technology is far from easy and requires additional training for the operators who have to work with this equipment. That is the experience of Bart Gruyaert, managing director and co-founder of Altifort, a European industrial group based in France (see box text). The group also harbours three individual valve manufacturers: Picardie Valves Industry, FCT and SMFI.
