In 1979 in a small one-car garage in Cheshire, UK, Michael Oliver created Oliver Engineering Ltd, by designing a world-beating unique high-pressure needle valve. With two children and a mortgage to pay, he started his business with very little money. Forty years later the company has sales offices worldwide, covers 80 countries, employs over 380 people in its Knutsford HQ and is supported by over 1000 sub-contractors making components.
