Sweden - Since its introduction in 1969, the Scania V8 has developed a strong reputation for performance and reliability. Over the past 20 years it has been further developed from Euro III emission levels to Euro VI, to operate with greater efficiency, while power has been increased from 580hp to 730hp. Technological developments have also resulted in the use of fewer components for lighter weight. It can operate on renewable fuels as standard, haul heavier loads and take advantage of advanced driver assistance software.
