MKT: Statistics: Colombia truck market rises 47% in first half of 2020

Colombia-Sales of medium and heavy trucks (GVW> 10.5 tons) in Colombia totalled 1,986 units in the first six months of 2020, a 47.1% increase over the 1,350 units sold in the same period last year. It was the only segment in the Colombian market to show a positive result, as the bus segment showed a significant drop. Bus and coach sales fell by 34.1%, with 1,212 units sold in the first half of 2020, against 1,840 units in the same period of 2019. In June, sales fell by 89% to 83 compared with 755 in June 2019.
