Ashok Leyland links with Israeli battery firm to develop electric vehicles

Chennai/Israel - Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, has announced it has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with battery specialist, Phinergy of Lod, Israel, for electric vehicle solutions. They plan to work together as well as other specialists, in creating unique, competitive and sustainable high-energy electric drive solutions for application in commercial vehicles.
