First Citaro G Hybrid buses supplied to SSB

Germany - Daimler Buses has delivered its first five Citaro G articulated hybrid buses to Stuttgarter Strassenbahnen AG (SSB). They are to be introduced on inner-city routes in Stuttgart before being transferred to the new Stuttgart X1 express service later in 2018, which SSB introduced specifically for low emission buses with innovative powertrains. Mercedes-Benz mild hybrid technology is said to deliver fuel savings of up to 8.5%.
