Transpublico used by Mercedes, MAN and Volvo to show customers new technologies

Brazil - Transpublico, the Urban Mobility Fair, held in Sao Paulo at the end of August and organized by NTU (National Association of Empresas de Transposes Urbanos - National Association of Urban Transportation Companies), was used by Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and MAN chassis suppliers to show their latest products and technologies for public transportation in urban areas. Mercedes-Benz used the show to promote new features of its fleet management as well as launching an energy and fuel saving device called RKM - see below; Volvo Bus demonstrated a variant of its 15m front-engine Millenium bus designed for mixed use applications; while MAN took the opportunity to mark the occasion of producing its 140,000th Volksbus bus chassis since it was launch almost 25 years ago.
