Production of the new Eaton-Cummins 12-speed Endurant transmission starts October in Mexico

USA/Mexico - On October 16, 2017, Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies of Galesburg, Michigan, USA, is to start production of the new Endurant 12-speed automated transmission at the Eaton production plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Endurant is the first automated heavy-duty transmission to be introduced as part of the newly formed joint venture between Eaton Corporation and Cummins Inc. Three and a half years in development the new Endurant 12-speed has been designed from scratch and customer driven from the ground up.
