Daimler Buses invests in CleverShuttle

Germany - Stuttgart-based Daimler Buses has made a strategic investment in the Berlin-based CleverShuttle through its EvoBus GmbH division, which now holds a minor stake; CleverShuttle develops software for practical use such as electric car sharing, pooling and route optimisation. Daimler says it jointly plans to develop co-operation for "on-demand mobility", offering services flexibly adapted to suit both passenger and transport providers' demands.
