BIZ: R&D TECH: E-Drive-BEV: Mercedes-Benz Trucks starts second phase of eActros testing ahead of series production next year

Germany-After more than a year of intensive practical use by ten customers in Germany and Switzerland, eight of the all battery-powered Mercedes-Benz eActros trucks are now to go to new customers in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands as part of phase two of the eActros testing programme. New customers will now also put the eActros trucks through their paces in tough everyday transport operations for a further year. The other two vehicles will continue the operational testing with customers in the first test phase.
