UK - Millbrook Proving Ground of Millbrook in Bedford, is increasing its operational capacity to support the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry in meeting air quality and CO_2 targets. Significant investment is already going into facilities for testing passenger vehicle emissions, but now following the European Parliament's proposal to set a truck CO_2 emissions reduction target of 20% by 2025, increasing to 35%, in 2030, Millbrook, aware of the substantial challenge this represents to the commercial vehicle industry is keen to work with manufacturers through increased capabilities in development, approval and monitoring testing.
