USA-Electric drivetrain supplier, Lightning Systems of Loveland, Colorado, USA, a developer of zero-emission drivetrains has announced that since the start of 2020, it has been working in partnership with hydrogen fuel cell engine and fuelling solutions company, Plug Power Inc of Latham, New York, USA, to develop electric, fuel cell-powered Class 6 trucks (up to 12.5 tons) capable of supporting middle-mile delivery logistics between warehouses and distribution centres.
