Chennai - Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, last month started delivering its first batch of BSVI compliant trucks to customers several months ahead of the BSVI emission standards deadline of April 1, 2020. These trucks were delivered to customers in the Delhi-NCR region. The company developed its 'iGen6' technology for meeting the BSVI emission standards, which it says, will not only meet the stricter emissions standards but will ensure higher operating profits for customers.
