OE update - Bridgestone, Hankook on Audi, Yokohama, Goodyear on BMW

This month's original equipment approvals are dominated by selections for Audi and BMW models. Further afield, Falken, Bridgestone and Firestone tyres have been given the nod for factory fitment in North America, while Cooper Tire has been awarded for its original equipment activities in Asia. Audi has selected the Bridgestone Turanza T005 as original equipment for the new A7 Sportback. According to Bridgestone, drivers of the four-door coupe will have the "full 17- to 21-inch range of Turanza T005 tyres available to them."
