On demand buses offer rural relief in the North East

Residents in rural parts of Teeside without access to traditional public transport had already started to use a new on demand bus service in encouraging numbers before Coronavirus put many people's daily journeys on hold. Tees Flex - an initiative of the Tees Valley Combined Authority and Stagecoach - launched in February in Darlington & Stockton, Redcar & Cleveland and Hartlepool to serve areas where there is no bus service.
