More demanding applications and safety concerns are requiring the use of better performing lubricants. Much attention has been paid to the composition of non-food compounds needed to assist with the preparation, processing and packaging of food products. The reason is growing concern about food safety due to problems that have occurred periodically. One category of non-food compounds is lubricants.
