Finding ROW Equipment for Firebreaks & Storm Cleanup

There is, if you pardon the play on words, a firestorm of business in right-of-way (ROW) work. That is to say, there is a lot of work to be had in storm-related ROW prep and cleanup as well as an emerging demand for creating firebreaks, largely in themore arid western United States.In Part 1 of this series on right-of-way equipment ("Options for Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance," TCI, August 2017), we explored equipment options for the steady and growing demand for clearing and maintaining new and existing rights of way. In this installment, we look at two specialty areas and the equipment used.
