For Stacey Marcell, earning her Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) credential was just one more step in creating a successful business.After a mixed experience working for another company, Marcell says she decided to "control my own destiny" and started her own company doing tree and plant health care. She bought a few trucks 13 years ago, and now her business, Northeast Horticultural Services - an accredited, 10-year TCIA member company based in Stratford, Connecticut, and serving Fairfield County and greater Bridgeport - has 22 trucks and 38 employees at the height of the season.
