Classification of contaminated sites as well as old sites by using an decision support model

In the past three decades, insufficient care about environmental protection in the field of waste management and disposal took place. Also in the chemical industry the care about environmental issues was at a low standard. Both situations are responsible for most of the contaminated sites. The contamination of air, soil and water could have adverse effects on human health and also on natural resources. In support of the evaluation of the potential for re-use of old sites an electronically supported Decision Support Model will be developed.
