Ms Herbeuval called to mind several accidents that have occurred at the Sorel complex during the past three years - the fire at the UGS plant in February 2017; the explosion of a carbon monoxide pipeline in March 2017; the fatal accident at the ore-reduction section in April 2018; and a small fire associated with the movement of slag railcars in December 2018.
