BASE RESOURCES: Doubles Realised Selling Price for Ilmenite Over 3 Years to Q4 2019

For the year to end-June 2019, total sales revenue was $US 209.5 million, of which rutile accounted for 57%; ilmenite for 28%; and zircon for 25%. Average realised selling prices for all three products have increased significantly year-on-year over the past four years. Unit sales revenue for 2018/19 was $US401 per tonne of finished product, compared against $US 332 per tonne for 2017/18, $US259 per tonne for 2016/17 and $US 205 per tonne for 2015/16.
