The deterioration in European demand was particularly marked in the second half of 2018. Kronos reported a partial recovery in its European sales throughout 2019, which continued into the early months of this year. Comparing sales volumes for Q1 2020 against Q1 2019, Europe was the only region for which Kronos saw an increase.
