AkzoNobel's Acquisitions in Aerospace Paints, Powder Coatings & Architectural Paints

In the architectural paints industry, AkzoNobel will consolidate its leading position in the Sub-Sahara market region with the acquisition of Mauvilac Industries Ltd. (headquartered at Les Pailles, Mauritius). Mauvilac reported sales revenue at €uros 20 million for full-year 2018, of which 85% from architectural paints and 15% from industrial paints. As well as the Les Pailles paint factory, the company runs four "concept stores" and has built up a strong distribution network.
