BASE RESOURCES: Kwale Still One of the World's Four Most Profitable Operations

In presentations at several recent conferences {Africa Down-Under, Perth, September 2019 and Arlington Pre-Daba, Cape Town, February 2020), Mr Carstens has highlighted the fact that Base Resources' Kwale operation is comfortably within the top quartile of profitable mineral sands operations. Indeed, it has been assessed as the third or fourth most profitable operations in the world. This was illustrated by charts comparing calendar year 2017 and 2018 data for all producers.
