Prestige Leaf Trade Limited (PLTL) was established in Hong Kong in 2016 as a producer, processor, exporter and global trading company of tobacco leaf and other tobacco products. The company is active in over 30 countries worldwide and has establisheditself in almost all Oriental tobacco markets, selling mostly to international manufacturers but also to local companies. Oriental tobacco plays a big role for Prestige and, in India, the company has a network of farmers 20,000 strong who source the aromatic leaf that is also known as "Turkish tobacco". Prestige focuses on Asian regions for growing tobacco leaf because, according to owner and managing director Zafer Atici, "Asia has the greatest potential in this millennium."
