'Now joint care starts with a sip' is the tagline for Minerva Research Labs’ new Artron Collagen liquid food supplement in the UK, which the firm said was the first joint-care supplement based on its 'scientificallyproven' European Union (EU) patentpending bioactive collagen complex. Launched exclusively at the UK Pharmacy Show earlier this month, Minerva claimed that Artron Collagen’s 'unique formula' – made up of a combination of the patented collagen complex with 15 other active ingredients, including methylsulfonylmethane, glucosamine, chondroitin, as well as a selection of vitamins and minerals – was 'specifically developed to support the maintenance and health of cartilage, bones and connective tissues'.
