Omnichannel retailing, a modern bricks-and-mortar offering and creating 'healthcare destinations' are the three pillars which will enable Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) to grow in a changing market environment, according to the firm’s chief executive officer Stefano Pessina. Speaking as the US-based wholesale and retail giant announced the results of its fourth quarter ended 31 August 2018, Pessina said WBA’s three-prong strategy would ensure the company was 'the first choice in this sector for customers and partners alike'.
